We've seen Kay Silva tenors, but never an "Artist" before. This banjo is in fine condition: the neck is perfectly straight, frets show infinitesimal wear, and the single-line Kluson Deluxe tuners are shiny like the rest of the all-original hardware. Okay, the bad stuff: the (pre-EPA?) head is a little dirty, there is some weather-checking on the back of the peghead and neck (ala Gibson), some minor scratches on the resonator, and two TINY dings in the clear-coat on the peghead.
This is as complete of a description as we can make. The banjo is in really nice condition for 55 years old, but you may have other questions which we will be happy to answer.
