Open the case and surprise everyone with this genuine Gibson All American which I believe was produced in 1974-75 based on the serial number on its label which begins with 531xxx. This banjo has spent most of its life in a collection and is mint condition, a term not to be used too easily. First produced in 1930 to 1937, this is one of the All Americans produced when it was reintroduced in 1970 and produced until 1986. Most banjo players can drown out the band when they want to, but this banjo comes out of its case shouting "look at me!". On a more serious note, for a collector who would like a fine example of this instrument, this one will fit your needs. I have included a selection of ten photos to cover most areas of the instrument. If you are interested and need other pictures, I have more and will be happy to email them to you. If you prefer a personal inspection, arrangements can be made. I always charge buyers actual shipping charges only. I am new to this site, but I have been a vintage collector of fine stringed instruments for more than 30 years and a luthier for 25 years. I only deal in a few banjos, but it is an important instrument in southwest Virginia so I do have a few to offer. I would enjoy discussing this banjo with any interested buyers. Thanks for looking!
