EDIT********I've been informed this is banjo was likely made in the early 30s due to the type of inlays used and the pattern on the body. I have no way of confirming this but I thought I'd put it out there.
1928 Paramount Leader Banjo, very rare find. Great condition, only a few tiny scratches on the back of the body and one of the inlays is missing. I played it for 4 years in a dixieland band and was often complimented on the tone and volume of the instrument. The neck is Brazilian Rosewood, now extinct. Pearl inlays. Everything is original except for the bridge which I had custom made by an extremely talented luthier. I even have the original Paramount wrench key that I've seen sell on Ebay for around $80. I'm underselling only because the market for a 4 string plectrum is rather limited. For me it was perfect because I'm a novice player and tuned it to a guitar and was able to get that great sound without having to learn other tunings. Price is fairly negotiable if your serious in buying.
