I have an old Gordon Tenor that needs a new home. It was my first instrument about 45-50 years ago. What I wanted at the time was a 5 string, but not knowing one from another my father purchased the tenor....as a result I gravitated to the guitar. This banjo needs some work, but I believe it's a very good platform for a restoration. The wood is very good condition with the obvious exception to the resonator where there is a chip in the finish and some small cracks in the same area. The head has a tear from age shown in one of the pics. I'm open to offers. Shipping will probably be around $25 unless you are in the Chicago area. Then we can hook up. I'm new to this site, but I have a 100% ebay rating and have sold instruments there too.....
