Up for sale is my amazing, one of a kind banjo. This is a 2003 Bill Stokes Timelss Timber full pot assembly (see http://billstokesshowcase.com/OldWoodPot.html for more info). The banjo was assembled and the neck was built by the great Robin Smith. It has a McPeake tonering and bridge, genuine Price tailpiece, 4 Gotoh Tuners, 1 5-Star, all with ebaony buttons, and a new First Quality head. It is all mahogony and the pot is made to resemble an RB-75 and the neck is a copy of an RB-18, with the word "Bunko" in the headstock. It has a radiused fretboard and a tunneled 5th string. There is some light fret wear, the metal has faded a bit, and there is some wear in the finish on the back of the neck from my hand (check out pics) none of which affects the tone. This banjo sounds fantastic and can hold its own and can be very commanding in a jam or on the stage. It is by far the easiest banjo I've ever played. I would keep it, but like a true picker I like to see what else is out there. I promise you will not be dissappointed with this banjo. It comes with an older Gibson case, however the Keith tuners are not included. When built this baby cost upwards of $5500.00. I am asking $3200.00 or best offer. I would also be open to any trades on good quality guitars, mandolins, and of coarse, banjos. You can contact me by phone (717) 348-0398 or email jrimes@tiu11.org or if you're in the cental PA area stop in and take a look and pick it. If you'd like more pics, just ask.
